Expeditions and over-night stays

Embark on a life-changing one-to-one expedition, or have a longer stay at the farm with your private group. These tours are for those of you looking for a truly unique adventure, whether you are traveling alone or with friends/family. The expeditions take place in the desolate mountains and can last between 3 and 14 days. We sleep in tents, under the open sky, in snow caves and sometimes in remote cabins. You drive your own sled with supplies and food for you and the dogs for the entire trip. During this adventure you will learn essential winter outdoor skills in an arctic environment, and sometimes under extreme weather conditions. This is not a trip for the faint of heart, but rather for adventurous souls who love challenges. You do not need any previous experience, but must have normal or good physical fitness. We also offer easier overnight trips where the base will be on or near the farm. This will be a great experience for families or small groups who want to dive deep into Northern Norwegian culture and food traditions, while having active days with dog sledding. All tours will be customized your requirements and wishes, with many extra activities such as ice fishing, campfires, cooking, cave safaris and more. Please note: - Dress in thick layers to wear under the overalls, warm shoes, hat and gloves/mittens. - Normal physical health is required. - Children with guardians can participate (with certain restrictions). Discounts for children under 14 years. - All participants must have standard travel insurance as all trips off track are associated with a certain risk.
